A Storied residential house for Mr. Wamanga Moses and Mrs. Fridah Nabahwana,

The proposed development is a residential house for Mr. Wamanga Moses and Mrs. Fridah Nabahwana, located at Mafubira Zone B Village, Northern Division, Jinja City Council. The architectural drawings comprise plans and details for the proposed residential development, including the ground floor, typical upper floor, front and rear elevations, and basement floor arrangement.

The house is designed as a multi-level residential development, providing comfortable accommodation and functional spaces for the occupants. The architectural arrangement includes several sitting rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, W.C facilities, a verandah, balcony and reading room, with the spaces distributed across the different levels of the building.

The ground floor provides the principal living accommodation. It includes spacious sitting rooms finished with ceramic floor tiles, bedrooms also finished with ceramic tiles, kitchen facilities and sanitary accommodation. A verandah is incorporated into the ground-floor arrangement, providing a covered outdoor transition space between the interior and exterior of the residence.

The upper-floor accommodation provides additional private and family spaces. The layout includes bedrooms, W.C facilities and a balcony finished with ceramic floor tiles. The balcony provides an outdoor relaxation area and also contributes to the architectural appearance of the upper level.

A dedicated reading room is also provided within the upper-level arrangement. This space provides a quiet area for reading, studying, working or other private activities. The building incorporates permanent ventilation provisions above doors and windows where indicated, promoting natural ventilation and improving the internal environment.

The building is provided with a kitchen area designed to support domestic food preparation and household activities. The kitchen is positioned in relation to the living and bedroom areas to provide convenient circulation within the house. Sanitary facilities are distributed throughout the building, with several W.Cs shown on the plans and drainage connections provided toward the septic tank.  

The external architectural treatment includes front and rear elevations, with appropriately positioned doors and windows. The openings provide natural lighting, ventilation and access to the various rooms while contributing to the overall appearance of the residence. The building is designed with ceramic tiled floor finishes in the principal internal and external spaces indicated on the drawings.  

The building incorporates appropriate water, drainage and sanitary infrastructure. Wastewater is directed toward a septic tank, while drainage and service installations are to be constructed according to the architectural and engineering requirements. The drawings also require concrete paving slabs around the building to form a splash apron, helping protect the building perimeter from surface water.  

The foundation and construction works are specified to comply with the relevant standards, local authority by-laws and fire regulations. The drawings require reinforced-concrete works to follow the structural engineer's details and specifications, while foundation trenches are specified to have a minimum depth of 750 mm below reduced ground level, subject to the site conditions and construction requirements.

Overall, the proposed development is a substantial multi-level private residential house designed to provide a combination of living, sleeping, cooking, sanitary, study and outdoor relaxation spaces.
