This project is a multi-level agricultural development designed as a Proposed Poultry House. It is explicitly designed for Nabawanga Hellen Veronica and Beeyo Moses Bernard to be constructed at Musiima Village, Plot 7619, Block 3, Wanyange Parish within the Northern Division of Jinja City.

A general description of the property layout, structural configuration, and spatial components includes:

1. Site Layout & Boundary Design

  • Total Project Footprint: The proposed building covers a total ground layout area of 150.5 m².

  • Property Bounds & Access: The plot boundaries feature dimensions of 21.0m by 19.2m. It interfaces directly with an adjacent access road and utilizes a secure 5-meter-wide sliding gate.

  • Ground Finishes: The main external driveway and pedestrian corridors are laid with interlocking concrete pavers.

  • Wastewater Civil Works: The site features self-contained drainage plumbing that runs to an on-site Septic Tank, a Soak Pit, and an engineering layout of Percolation Trenches backed by 300mm concrete stormwater channels.

2. Multi-Level Floor Plan & Space Allocation

The structure functions as a multi-tier commercial building splitting operations across two main levels:

  • Ground Floor:

    • Poultry Production Zone: A large, specialized Poultry cage segment occupying the primary longitudinal wing of the building floor plan.

    • Storage & Logistics: Two distinct rooms explicitly designated as Store spaces to secure feed, veterinary supplies, or equipment.

    • Operational Rooms: Labeled as Room 1 and Room 2, serving as administrative desks, staff offices, or processing zones.

  • First Floor:

    • Upper Operational Space: Replicates the layout below, housing an upper Store and identical rooms (Room 1 and Room 2) to expand poultry processing or storage capacity.

    • Outdoor Extensions: Features a prominent front structural Balcony node measuring 15.4 meters in length.

3. Height Specifications & Building Elevations

The property is a substantial structure reaching a maximum roof apex height of 10.15 meters above ground level:

  • Ground Floor Clearance: Ground floor structural level sits at ±0.000, stepping up to +2.400 meters at window thresholds and topping out at +3.800 meters for the intermediate slab.

  • First Floor Height: Extends from +3.800 meters up to the wall plate level marked at +6.850 and +7.450 meters.

4. Technical Material Specifications

  • Foundation Sub-base: Relies on a 150mm thick mass concrete floor slab (1:3:6 mix) over a 200mm well-compacted hardcore stone base and a 50mm sand blinding sheet layered with a 1000-gauge polyethene damp-proof membrane (DPM).

  • Structural Wall Footings: Built using a 200x600mm concrete strip foundation footprint combined with a 50x150mm ceramic tile floor skirting over approved commercial floor tiles.

  • Roof Engineering: A 30-degree pitch roof system composed of Galvanized Corrugated Iron (GCI) roofing sheets anchored onto a framework of 75x50mm purlins and 100x50mm common rafters.

  • Fixtures Schedule:

    • Doors: Fitted with 8 steel double-swing casement doors containing 5mm glass panes (D1pvo), 2 steel single-swing doors (D2pvo), and 2 wood-paneled internal doors (D3pvo).

    • Windows: Employs 3 steel casement top-hung structural windows (W1pvo) and 12 specialized steel casement ventilation windows (W2pvo) to manage constant air quality across the poultry blocks.
