The project is a two-story multi-level residential development titled Proposed Residential House. It is planned for construction along Kaguta Road, Mpumudde, Southern Division in Jinja City.

A detailed layout of the building includes the following components:

1. Spatial Layout & Room Breakdown

The building operates on a dual-level floor plan with rooms clearly divided between public living zones and private quarters:

  • Ground Floor: Designed primarily for communal and daytime family utility.

    • Verandah: Serves as the primary outdoor shelter at the front entrance.

    • Sitting Room & Dining Room: Dedicated lounge and eating spaces with seamless transition.

    • Kitchen: Fitted with an L-shaped Worktop and adjacent utility infrastructure.

    • Bed Room & Study: One ground-floor bedroom positioned next to a quiet home office or study room.

    • Sanitation: Includes a central corridor leading to a ground floor Water Closet (W.C.).

  • First Floor: Accessible via an internal staircase, serving as the quiet sleeping quarters.

    • Master Bedroom: An expansive executive suite equipped with its own private Balcony and integrated Wardrobe alcoves.

    • Two Additional Bedrooms: Positioned across the floor layout, one of which includes direct access to a separate front Balcony.

    • Foyer & Corridor: Central transition nodes anchoring the stairwell and upper bedrooms.

2. Civil & Site Infrastructure

  • Plot Planning: The block plan shows a property line with boundary footprints measuring 24 meters by 13.5 meters.

  • External Grounds: Features dedicated grass Lawn zones flanking a designated vehicular Parking area adjacent to Kaguta Road.

  • Waste Management System: Features independent wastewater management, mapping a layout from the house plumbing directly to an external Septic Tank and an adjacent Soak Pit.

3. Structural & Material Specifications

  • Foundation & Walls: Utilizes a 230mm brick plinth wall supported by a 690x250mm concrete strip footing. Structural stability is reinforced by two variations of columns (C1 and C2) tied to concrete footings (F1).

  • Floors: Finished with smooth ceramic tile finishes (Cer. tile f.fin.) across both levels. The intermediate floor uses a 200mm thick reinforced concrete hollow slab system.

  • Roof System: Configured at a 25-degree roof slope utilizing prepainted metal roofing sheets (Gauge 28) over 75x50mm purlins.

  • Openings (Doors & Windows):

    • Windows: Steel casement structural windows categorized into dimensions W1, W2, and W3, paired with permanent ventilation openings (P.V.O.).

    • Doors: Heavy fabricated steel double swing and single doors (D1, D2) alongside standard internal timber panel doors (D3).
